Why anyone makes jokes about Chuck Norris is anyone's guess, really. It's just one of those things that somebody started, and it caught on, for no real compelling reason.
I haven't gotten a definitive answer on the origin of Chuck Norris facts either, so can't help you there.

Just enjoy the fad or don't, I suppose.

You mean a Back Wheel Kick? A roundhouse kick involves bringing your leg around from the side maybe only 100 degrees or so...

Started at the PvP weekend in conjunction with assassins .

Simply: Chuck is the white Jackie Chan. He now sells Blow-Flex *COUGH* I mean Bow-Flexmachines, and was concidered a god because he never died in his films and ALWAYS managed to give somebody a roundhouse kick. We make fun of him 'cause it's easy and fun.

You can find references to chuck norris in any comp arena is you spend more than 30 minutes there. I have discussed this with my guild on TS and not one of them has any idea where it came from.
